1980s or 90's Burberry London blue cashmere scarf that is incredibly soft! This gorgeous rectangular scarf has fringed ends, and is great for layering under a jacket.

Thomas Burberry started his career creating outdoor wear in the late 1800's. He was commissioned to design a new British uniform for WWI, and created a military trench coat. The trademark plaid of Burberry's was first used in the 1920's, and became a fashion statement in the late 1960's! The label dropped the "s" in the late 1990's, turning it into the Burberry we know today.

This vintage scarf has the "Burberrys" label, and is in excellent condition!
