This is a really beautiful vintage 1920's B & B Company enamel retractable comb with a white guilloche medallion that has a hand painted pink rose with green leaves.

This piece is in wonderful condition for it's age. The comb is perfect, with no teeth missing.

It is hallmarked B&B Co., with a patent date of April 25, with a year that is hard to read, but appears to be 1922. B& B stands for Bliss Brothers, which manufactured high quality vanity items in the early 1900's.

The comb is retractable by sliding a button along the top of the holder.

It is gold plated on the edge, which was common with items of that time period from the B & B Co.

It measures approximately 4 1/4 inches length by 3/4 inches in width.  Please consider checking out our other vintage vanity items.
